In this free 90 minute session you will learn correct alignment for several traditional yoga poses (including Mountain, Forward Fold, Plank, Downdog, Chair and Tree Pose) in order to prevent injury and to get the maximum benefit from each pose.
In this 5-week series, you will explore traditional yoga postures focusing on correct alignment to prevent injury and obtain the most benefit from the postures. This course will also include discussion, practice and specific techniques of four of the eight limbs of yoga. 1. Asana (physical practice/poses), 2. Pranayama (breath techniques), 3. Dharana (concentration/focus) and 4. Dhyana (meditation). You will walk away with a deeper understanding of several yoga postures and learn powerful techniques to take your physical practice to the next level. These powerful techniques can be used both on the mat and off the mat to find peace and serenity in your daily life.
