Whether or not you have gone through a Reiki class, you can still benefit from bringing the principles of Reiki into your life. This is an excellent class for you if you are new to energy work, considering taking a Reiki 1 class, or intrigued by the idea of receiving a Reiki session from a Reiki practitioner near you. What you will learn in this class: What is Reiki? How can Reiki help? What the five Reiki precepts are and how to apply them to your own life. How to use a Reiki intention box. How Reiki can be used with food and beverages. The reasons to learn Reiki: helping yourself and your loved ones. A brief meditation for the group as I send Reiki to all those taking part in the class. Reiki is a traditional Japanese energy technique. It is not massage; Reiki is a laying-on-of-hands technique that promotes relaxation and healing. I am a Reiki Master in Wichita, Kansas. I began learning Reiki in 2012 and ultimately started a business offering Reiki sessions and classes. I am based at White Dove metaphysical book store and yoga studio.
