I am a firm believer in overcoming. I live with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, neuropathy, and have had multiple surgeries. One has to keep getting up and moving forward - despite the physical. Much for myself depends upon my mindset, expectations, and faith in my ability to rise above it. I am not my pain, nor any of the other circumstances - they are a small part - and life must go on. I refuse to let these things take my life. I used to dispense hope for a living, and I suppose now I still do - only inward, with grace and compassion towards self. If I am still to live, I will yet learn, and grow, or I am not living. God's grace propels me forward, and gratitude keeps me humble. For me there must always be that balance.... I can't afford not to be grateful. God's grace is the glue.
