About Creator
Jivasu's (Pradeep Kumar) teachings are called Naturality or Sahajta. Naturality is "to live according to our nature" and "walk our own path". The core of his teachings is about the fear of death (and life) and the emergence of the ego in response to the fear. The ego helps in escaping from the fear of death and promises an illusory immortality to its owner. The illusory immortality is needed in the beginning of life to live with some measure of comfort but later on we have to go beyond ego to experience true immortality and freedom from fear. Born in 1956, Jivasu was trained as a physician in India. Later on he practiced as an acupuncturist and mind-body medicine speaker in Canada, India and other countries. He with his wife Karen served for thirteen years in the remote villages of Uttarakhand Himalayas. While living in Sivananda ashram, Rishikesh, he experienced his first awakening which came to full fruition twelve years later in the experience of "wholeness" and "freedom from the psychological fear of the death." Eventually the process culminated in the realization that death is not the end of life. Only the mind and the body die but consciousness is immortal. Currently Jivasu is teaching Meditation Facilitator Training Program, Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training Program and conducting workshops on a variety of themes related to the Naturality, in Canada and Rishikesh, India. He conceived Expansiveness meditation (Braham dhyan), the Breath of dissolution (Kalajayi pranayam) and Naturality Yoga, the three elements of the Naturality teachings. He also concluded that all spiritual experiences have a biological dimension. When brain, the marvelous instrument of perception is cleaned of memories and emotional scar, will connect to and clearly reflects the universe within and around us. He is the author of many books including: Meditation: A Path of Relaxation, Awareness and Expansion of Awareness, From Death to Immortality, Chakras: Centers of Evolution and Involution, Freedom from Fear, Naturality and Science of Naturality.
