Mindfulness is the practice of centering and being fully present in your body and mind in this moment. It is a state of acceptance where you notice all, judge nothing, push away nothing, and add nothing.
The benefits of learning mindfulness are: stress reduction, fewer ruminating thoughts, better immune system, boosts working memory, improved focus, increased emotional balance, more flexibility in thinking, and increased relationship satisfaction.
Every class is interactive. There is homework in each class to help you build skills, not just understand them intellectually. Each class builds on the one before it.
Session One - Body Scan, 3 States of Mind
Session Two - "What skills"- Observe, Describe, Participate
Session Three - "How skills" - Nonjudgmentally, One-mindfully, Effectively
